DIAMOND FLUORESCENCE

Fluorescence is a color reaction to UV rays (3660 A long waves) that is often present in the diamond.

This singularity can be blue, green, yellow, orange and when it is very strong, a slight reaction is observed also to the visible light.

This curious natural phenomenon is particularly sought after by some collectors.
